Takashi, I suppose you are aware this was fixed recently.
I can't say the process was transparent (the issue was not in "known issue" in the Gadget API), it was very difficult to get help in the forums (among other, many people at first said it worked because it worked in iGoogle)... This is quite shocking because unlike Google+, the Gadget API is not something that was baked a few months ago. It been out there for years. Considering we have apps in production using the Gadget API i am very glad Google finally fixed it, but this was not a pleasant 3 months waiting for Google to fix this bug. I hope Google will try and improve the way it handle API issues in the future. However, thank you for passing it on! We were really releived to see it working and not having to set up a Shindig server ourselves just because of this API issue.
