Just downloaded and installed on Ubuntu 10.4. My photos are stored on several high-capacity external drives, connected via USB or Firewire. It appears Picasa for Linux can only access the local internal drive. Is this the case? If so, it is a major flaw.
Are the drives mounted? If so navigate to the mount points. probably /media/drivename etc.
Also, as an aside, it would be nice if Picasa were a native app. Using Wine is OK, I guess, but the user experience of Picasa on Linux is pretty bad (i.e., ugly).
