Just downloaded and installed on Ubuntu 10.4. My photos are stored on
several high-capacity external drives, connected via USB or Firewire.
It appears Picasa for Linux can only access the local internal drive.
Is this the case? If so, it is a major flaw.

Also, as an aside, it would be nice if Picasa were a native app. Using
Wine is OK, I guess, but the user experience of Picasa on Linux is
pretty bad (i.e., ugly).
