Yep, did that also. The 10.10 behaved in the same way, however when I switch back to 9.10 (karmic) now picasa says "will need to recreate all faces data OK ? (paraphrased)" .. I clicked cancel ... it trashed the faces data anyhow :-( ... fortunately I could recover from a backup up ... but this means I can no longer switch back to 9.10 in order to import ... which is a pain. BTW. Speaking of bug fixes .
