The tarball being referred to would be for
WINE, but you've already installed it. Now
all you need to do is install Picasa 3.8.
After downloading "picasa38-setup.exe", simply execute:
wine ./picasa38-setup.exe
OK, you've convinced me that everything will be OK and that I will lose
nothing in the process. Tomorrow. If things blow up, though, I have
friends in Homeland Security and the NSA who wil be happy to do me a few
favors... :-)
