I have been using Picasa 3.8.0 build 155.5300,0 on my Mint9-amd64 system with no problem. I am currently using wine v1.2 on my system. I read something in this thread about places causing a freeze yet someone else said that places does not crash their system. Of course this prompted me to try it. It freezes Picasa on my system. Getting Picasa to work again took a bit of digging around, but now all is well.
My question is to whoever said that places does not crash their system. Beyond not crashing, does the places feature actually do what it is supposed to do, or does it simply not freezes Picassa while not functioning properly? Either way, do you have any idea what is needed to duplicate your results? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google-Labs-Picasa-for-Linux" group.
