I have registered for the Google maps API key using a website address. And the google map API works perfect when I open the URL registered against the key.
When I try to see the google maps through the local (QA) copy of website, google maps API displays a error message as "The Google Maps API key used on this web site was registered for a different web site.....". Now, without closing the browser session, If I change the URL to the one which is registered agaist the google maps API key, even then I receive the same error message. I have observed this in two of the PCs in my office.
