I am at the process of pyramidizing my tiffs. I just wanted to make a
notice here; despite the fact that the current wms request puts a tiff
image in every single google map tile, it is served very fast. Would
not it better to find a way to adjust the bounds or sth in order to
display it properly? Comparing the wms speed with the gmaps, i think
the wms is much faster..Plus, you can configure it to create a map
legend which is quite handy :)
