it isnt a tiff... browsers dont display tiff ;-)

only one image is being asked for and is probably browser cached
why wouldnt it seem fast...

with the tool I gave a link to it adjusts for zoom and extents
and in one of the viewers it only asks for one wms image instead
of tiling... that viewer pans slow and crotchety and doesnt
allow caching because each image has unique extents.. .etc.
