Hi, I am very new to google maps API and javascript(I mainly work in C++) in general. I was wanting to use it to draw an overlay(either roads or areas) from a database(say if I gave it addresses or coordinates or whatever it may be)) and then someone would be able to use the map to see the data (just pan around and zoom etc).
Is this even possible with Google Maps API? I've been searching for a while now and cant seem to find anything(maybe I'm searching using the wrong terms or something). Could someone point me in the right direction towards a guide or tutorial for it? I would greatly appreciate it. Once again, sorry if this seems like a stupid question but I'm almost brand new and am completely lost(went through a giant page of tutorials and didnt seem to find anything that fit my needs).
