The spreadsheet-api team, if there still is one, shows no evidence of being
accountable to its users in any way, so it is doubtful that you'll hear
from them.

If you're an Apps for Business subscriber, I'd raise the matter of the
crashing docs with the usual support channels (and not mention anything
about using an API).

Long term, I'd try hard to get the Spreadsheet API out of the loop for
anything mission critical.
