Ravinder, I haven't tried this, but I imagine you could try making a link to http://wave.google.com that targets a new smaller login window (or iframe or div block, etc) and you can then write some javascript or AJAX code that somehow checks if there has been a successful login (maybe if there's a valid session or something) and then refreshes the main page (or the wave div).
