You can also generate source maps; see https://gwt.googlesource.com/gwt-site-webapp/+/423256d63e17eb9e117c61d2ba6ad4adbf32b15f%5E%21/ for how it was enabled for gwtproject.org. Basically, enable sourcemaps in your gwt.xml, configure the URL to the sourcemaps (still in your gwt.xml) pass -saveSource and possibly -saveSourceOutput somedir (defaults to -extra) to the compiler.
