You can also generate source maps;

for how it was enabled for gwtproject.org.
Basically, enable sourcemaps in your gwt.xml, configure the URL to the 
sourcemaps (still in your gwt.xml) pass -saveSource and possibly 
-saveSourceOutput somedir (defaults to -extra) to the compiler.
