Java 10 language features support already in HEAD-SNAPSHOT and scheduled
for 2.9. But there is only "local var" support. There are no new Java 9/10
JRE API emulation.

I don't know about 2.9 release plans, but you can use HEAD-SNAPSHOT or
create a custom build until release. My company is used the second option.
