I replaced the gwt jars (gwt-servlet.jar, gwt-user.jar and gwt-dev-windows.jar) and compiled the class files again with them and then when running the application got an error of: [18:53:32.089] An IncompatibleRemoteServiceException was thrown while processing this call. [18:53:32.089] com.google.gwt.user.client.rpc.IncompatibleRemoteServiceException : This application is out of date, please click the refresh button on your brows er. ( Expecting version 5 from client, got 2. ) So I tried the gwt application creator from 1.5 and for a module called 'FindAPartner', in the 'com.golfpartners.FindAPartner' directory, I replaced the files I thought I should. Now when I run it, I get no error or any message but it doesn't load the section that used this in the web page. I'd bet I am just replacing the wrong files or something basic, just I don't know what a 1.5 upgrade should mean in terms of what should be replaced I am a Java expert but a GWT newbie so I am fairly unfamiliar with all these unique meta files that GWT creates. I have also tried replacing the "text/plain" references in the cache.html with "text/x-gwt-rpc" as was recommended in the link below, but that just gave a different error. https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!topic/Google-Web-Toolkit/wG_ZQLpEA2o I have gone through the forums and can't find anything better. Any idea what I need to replace or what I've done wrong? Basically I am just looking to have it work on any version at all, I would have thought many people years ago would have upgraded to 1.5 (often from 1.2), so this can't be that hard.
