my ide drive has been making "boot up" noises intermittently, and then
it failed to post
works fine in an external enclosure
the rest of the machine seems happy enough, although the primary master
is sata and has a different power from the psu
what is the normal voltage to an ide drive?
can one bit of the psu output be defective
the onboard nvidia lan has gone on the blink, though the second onboard
lan (3 com) is mostly happy
is the psu dying ? - it's only a few months old (antec smartpower 400w)
c'mon - makes a change from endless argument about software... do
something useful :-) help me !
