Lost me.  Controller board?  If you said before, I forgot, what is
your system configuration?  Is it indoors?  Outdoors?

How did you jump from some "controller board" to the receiver?

AFAIK, the only difference between the F9P and F9T is the firmware
adjusted for the positioning or timing.  And the F9T has a nicer
on-board oscillator.  I doubt you woould see any difference.

Outdoors?  In Hawaii?  Sounds like things could get real hot.  That would
be bad for any bare receiver.  Are you tracking temperature?

I do not see how adding a RasPi, or similar, helps anything.
