Not really on topic for Grasshopper because we modelled this prior to it's development, but might be of interest regardless (we did model it in Rhino).
Our company (www.expedition.uk.com) assists an education program for university students called the constructionarium. It was awarded an UK steel design award, with the mini-gherkin as the profile project for the award. http://www.steelconstruction.org/static/assets/source/NSC1607_SSDA-15.pdf We're looking to use Grasshopper more and more to parametrically model many of our structures and projects, looking forward to testing out the new version. The next "mini-gherkin" we do will definitely be done in grasshopper. Cheers, Jon
