Thanks Taz, It looks much more streamlined. I must admit I'd thought about the plane intersection after I creating the file, but never took the time to go back and simplify it. To an extent you're right about the combining many of the components into single scripting components, but I think the partially defeats the purpose of Grasshopper. After all, I could have written the whole thing in Rhinoscript or dotNET (or a spreadsheet as I've typically done in the past).
Do you mind if I carry forward with your version? I'm going to setup a first parse GH to GSA using the gherkin, but I need to ask a couple of questions about strings that I'm going to start a new thread on.
