I'm trying to use tabular to line up the lines of my litany
with the chant that Gregorio outputs.
However, on one line I have "Pater de caelis Deus" - and I
need to move "Deus" whilst leaving the previous part of the
score alone.
So I have this:
Pa(h)ter(h) ( ) de(h) ( ) cae(h)lis(h)<b>De</b>(i)us,(g.)
(,) mi(g)se(g)<b><i>ré-</i></b>(f)<b><i>re</i></b>(g)
nó-(h)bis.(h) (::)()
But if I do this:
Pa(h)ter(h) ( ) de(h) ( ) cae(h)lis(h)(
)<b>De</b>(i)us,(g.) (,)
mi(g)se(g)<b><i>ré-</i></b>(f)<b><i>re</i></b>(g)
nó-(h)bis.(h) (::)()
it affects the chant before the space!
How can I insert a space there without affecting what comes
before?
