Sounds great. Is the recommended method for importing updates to get the PureStore export at http://thinkcreatesolve.biz/dGSD-export.html and them import everything in that into your current dGSD via backstage?
Regarding the plugins error: Would starting up in safe mode, disabling all plugins and then enabling them one by one (or in batches) be the easiest way to track down what is issue is?
