There's still enough things which are not optimal. For example I noticed
that in the search panel with settings uhidden the "fuzzy matching" and 
"autoselect identical" settings are not greyed out when "enable
autoselect" is disabled (I didn't fix this). I also had to make the
"Ignored files are" combo-box non-editable, which somebody seems to have
forgotten.

If you want, you could have a look for such glitches. Further
suggestions to gui cleanup also ok. 

It would be nice to be able to select which columns are visible in the
gnet view... or if not that, maybe some of the columns/info might be
coupled with expert mode.

And of course the greatest thing yet would probably be if you had the
time to implement result grouping in the search results in Gtk1 as is
done in Gtk2.

You see, if you want to contribute, there's plenty of opportunity to do
so ;)

If you can't figure out the stubs in settings_gui.c, I can give you a
primer if you need one. They are rather simple to use.
