Following this are some patches to the manual files. It is still
incomplete, but it would be helpful to get some feed back on the first
8 sections.

"magnet:?dn=manual_html.tar.bz2&xs=http://64.229.112.218:23335/uri-res/N2R?urn:sha1:G5AFPH2CKOVFYOEI5MN3T5QWSC3CANVQ&xl=792561";

I am not sure if the size is too big. I have seen other manuals near
the 1MB mark. I will try to reduce some of the graphics. Any hints
on how to make the generated files smaller would be much appreciated.

I left things in the DocBook format. I figured that Hans had a good
reason for this. However, if the PDF version isn't useful and there
is no plan to integrate this with GTKG (like the FAQ), then maybe a
straight HTML distribution would be better?

I was using "dvidpfm" to generate the PDF.  It gives the best output;
it doesn't seem to handle the <link/> entries, but has no problems
with <ulink/>. "dvipdf" seems to generate good links, but the tables
of contents and other things are screwed up. The "docbook2pdf" seems
to generate the worst PDF of all.

Regards,
Bill Pringlemeir.
