I just experienced a similar crash running revision 14708 (that's after the changes, right?), which occurred when I selected a a whole bunch of browse entries and then tried, erroneously, to close them using the 'close' button, rather than selecting from the pop-up menu. (The correct behavior should have been either nothing or the close of the last displayed entry.) No significant prior message. Given the nesting depth of gtk frames, it's hard to believe that GTKG could be at all responsible, rather than non-optimizable mathematical shortcuts in GTK1 or something, but I have no clue. 07-08-28 17:44:06 (MESSAGE): gtk-gnutella/0.96.5u-14708 (2007-08-17; GTK1; Darwin Power Macintosh) > Program received signal EXC_BAD_ACCESS, Could not access memory. > Reason: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at address: 0x00000000 > 0x00c311f0 in resync_selection () > (gdb) bt > #0 0x00c311f0 in resync_selection () > #1 0x00d07fa0 in gtk_signal_real_emit () > #2 0x00c105ac in gtk_binding_entry_activate () > #3 0x00c12694 in gtk_bindings_activate () > #4 0x00cba8e4 in gtk_marshal_BOOL__POINTER () > #5 0x00d07fa0 in gtk_signal_real_emit () > #6 0x00d08cf8 in gtk_signal_emit () > #7 0x00d60124 in gtk_widget_event () > #8 0x00d6c578 in gtk_window_key_release_event () > #9 0x00cba8e4 in gtk_marshal_BOOL__POINTER () > #10 0x00d07fa0 in gtk_signal_real_emit () > #11 0x00d08cf8 in gtk_signal_emit () > #12 0x00d60124 in gtk_widget_event () > #13 0x00cb9acc in gtk_propagate_event () > #14 0x00cb9db8 in gtk_main_do_event () > #15 0x00a6dfc8 in gdk_event_dispatch () > #16 0x00ee5fb4 in g_main_dispatch () > #17 0x00ee7670 in g_main_iterate () > #18 0x00ee79bc in g_main_run () > #19 0x00cba248 in gtk_main () > #20 0x00151030 in main_gui_run (geometry_spec=0xd9a148 "") at > main.c:692 > #21 0x0000353c in main (argc=15737576, argv=0xf022e8) at main.c:1413 - Matt ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
