Sadly, an R-7 in stock configuration (100 HP) is slower and has less 
horsepower than an R-6 (120 HP). Sure, it has the Ohlins Inverteded forks, 
that are a mere $10,000 by themselves, but, wouldn't it be embarrassing to 
have a 17 year old blowyour doors off on a bike that cost less than your 
forks? BTW, a race kitted R-7 will blow the doors off an R-1, and that is 
impressive!
