I'm with George, since the day I bought my bike I thought my rear brake was
fairly useless.  I always chalked it up to weight transfer, but using the
bake brake alone is pretty lame, so I guess that is not the problem.  I can
easily invoke the rear abs tic-tic-tic under fairly heavy front and rear
braking, which is why I thought it was a weight transfer thing. My single
caliper Virago brake does way more on the Virago (back brake).
