It looks the other folks have turned you on to their front wheel fixes,
so I won't belabor that.
If you are willing to travel a bit of a distance, I would be willing to
recommend a place for general repairs that knows what they are doing. I
bought my GTS at the Yamaha dealership in Sacramento, Capital Yamaha.
The service manager is a big affectionado of the GTS as he maintained
mine long before I bought it. It was his favorite bike to 'test' ride at
the shop and knows a lot about them.
I don't know if he is still there, but they have all been very good to
deal with.
