This is a weekly posting with GURPS vehicles (and the like) to the
GURPSnet mailing list. I grant the permission for all non-commercial
redistribution of my work, but I would like to know if you put it on
a website or the like. With a slight delay, old vehicles appear
at http://omeyer.gmxhome.de/GURPSnet_files/summary.html

Archvillain's Yacht (1920s Version) v1.0 (TL6)
Copyright 2006 by Onno Meyer
An Evil Overlord with style will not be confined to a clammy mountain
fastness. With a yacht like this, he - or she - can travel with all the
comforts of home.
The yacht is powered by twin steam turbines for a top speed just over
30 knots. The superstructure has four luxury cabins for the Archvillain
and trusted lieutenants or honored guests. A fifth luxury cabin down in
the hull has sturdy locks to detain involuntary visitors. The henchmen
share four double cabins and two rather spartan bunkrooms.
The yacht is armed with three concealed 2.25" naval guns and one 40mm
autocannon on a deck mount. A dry dock in the stern holds the customary
escape vehicle, probably a speedboat or a midget sub. A slowly flooding
dock would be a death trap worthy of a cliffhanger ending, too.
At routine travel speed, the two turbines burn 360 gallons of diesel
per hour. The diesel generator uses 4 gallons per hour. A full load of
fuel, ammunition and provisions is $21,000.
