Interesting. I've also noticed powering down does not lose my place or
bookmarks.
Switching from flash to SD does.

book. I would tend to think of this as risk behavior but it seems to be the
opposite. Along
the same lines, when the BookSense goes off while playing as a result of the
sleep timer expiring, I have never lost my place in a book. If you tend to do
the same,
you might not be as likely to experience the problem. Tell us your secret.
