I forgot to add one thing. You can usually get the male voice back by
performing a correct hard reset. This involves pressing and holding the
number 4, then as you hold it in, press the reset button for 1 second,
however keep holding number 4 for about 20 seconds.
Many thanks.

We have recently received confirmation that the loss of the Paul voice
seems to be a part of the firmware not being able to successfully
install it. At this point there are two solutions.
1. Wait for the new firmware to be released which will fix this issue
which we discovered and will fix.
2. Send in your BookSense to us so we can fix it here at the office.
Many thanks.

As the subject line says, I lost the Paul reading voice. If I hold down
the five key, it stops talking or reading. If I hold it down again, Kate
comes back. I tried resetting, and even tried reinstalling the firmware
as I would assume this would be a software issue, but no luck.
Suggestions please!
Pam
