Hello Jim. it will start playing from the beginning of the list or
folder. It will not remember which track you were in.
Many thanks.

Hey Raul,
I want to make sure I'm clear about this.
I understand that when in the music folder, the booksense won't
remember where in a song I was listening, However, does it remember
which song I was listening to, or does it always restart playing music
at the beginning of the folder?
Same for playlists. If I'm listening to a playlist and then start
listening to a book, will the booksense remember which song I was
listening to when I come back to that playlist?
Thanks!

Hey Raul,
Was playlist support repaired in 2.0?
Also, as I remember from 1.0, there was no way to remember where you
were in a playlist. Do you know if this has been fixed?
Nice podcast, BTW, thanks for doing it.

Hello.
1. With 2.0 of firmware, you can read RFB&D files. However you can't
download any or get the authorization until RFB&D makes it live. This
will happen by January 11, 2010.
2. Navigation by various text units was always available in documents,
but not text-based DAISY files. It is now with 2.0.
3. The BookSense does not currently allow you to type text. So for now,
doing a search means you need to navigate to the word you want to
search. Once you read the first occurrence of the word, you can move
forward with right or backward with left.
Many thanks.

I read the text file of new features in the 2.0 release of the firmware.
Looks like some major problem fixes and feature enhancements. Nice.
What I didn't see was:
1. RFBD support (originally promised before school). Looks like this still
isn't available?
2. I am not sure, but I thought that the original firmware did not allow
navigation by character or word in text-based file (daisy or otherwise). Is
this level of navigation now available (or maybe it already was)?
3. How does one perform a search in the Book Sense. Is this possible?
Thanks.
