Carly,
My guess is that you will have to reboot your unit using the little
reset hole on the right, or by removing the battery for a time.
I have noticed that quite often in the recording process when one
pauses or stops recording or even when reviewing a list of recordings
the unit will lock up and can't be revived without this kind of hard
reset. It happens to me quite often when I am playing back recorded
files, pausing them and later deleting them. I find this part of the
book sense firmware regularly unstable. As in dependably able to
crash your unit in this mode.
Have others noticed this lockup when pausing/deleting recordings made
by the Book Sense? GW. is this on your list of bugs to fix?

any folder, switch between modes or anything. I tried hard resetting it
with the long #4 but it didn't seem to do anything. If I hit the mode key
and any other key for that matter, it just dings at me. I am able to plug
into my computer and it shows up with all the folders, but that's about it.
Any ideas how I can get back to go through my folders?
