The other option is, use an fm transmitter.

Depends a lot on your car stereo. If your car stereo has an audio input
jack
then you can do what Candie did. If your car stereo has a USB connector
then
it probably also has a media player and you can plug the Booksense in
through the USB port. The car stereo should recognize the media on the
Booksense and let you play it. I doubt this will be accessible though,
although since you'll be in the car, there'll probably be a sighted pilot
who could punch up what you want to hear. Another option, assuming you
have
a cassette deck, is to buy a device that will let you connect the
Booksense
in through your cassette deck. This looks like a cassette tape with a
audio
jack hanging off the end. You should be able to buy this through any
electronics store.
Note that I've done both options 1 and 3 above. I haven't had a car with a
USB port in it yet.

When I played my booksense through the car speakers, I used a cable that
had
a headphone jack on both ends. One end goes into the headphone jack on the
book sense, and the other goes into the jack on the car stereo.

HI Everyone,
I am going on a small road trip tomorrow and wondered how I can plug
the booksense in to hear it over the car speakers. Does the car need
a USB jack? Is there more than one way to get it to play over the
stereo speakers in the car? How does this work.
Thanks,
Karly
