Hi Steve,
When you install Magic Jack it puts a small piece of software on the
machine you are using it with. If I recall it has features like caller ID and
the ID pops up on your computer. You can adjust the volume of a headset with
it and I think there are some other features too. When you install it it takes
about 30 or so seconds to install.

Yes, but there is another setting for magicjack which controls headset and
phone volume.

You can change the volume by going into the computer volume control.
I wish that it could go higher than it does. But, it's loud enough.

I think it works fine. I haven't been able to change the volume but
other than that it works great. YOu can't change the volume on the phone by pc
anyway normally so this is not a big deal to me. For $20 a year for long
distance to the u.s. and canada it is great.
