If you read through a document that contains a long string of text with no
periods such as a list of items, Eloquence behaves as you describe whether
using Window-Eyes or another screen reader which shall remain nameless. In
fact, I'm not sure it's as much of a problem with Window-Eyes. So far, I am
thrilled with the responsiveness of Eloquence with beta 2 on my system. I am
for the moment at least one happy camper.

Is it just the nature of Eloquence to slow down when using control shift r
to read a document of some length. Seems as the longer it reads the slower
it gets then it will go back to normal rate then start the process of
slowing down again.
It is very responsive when typing just not when reading a long document.
