I have the same problem with starting firefox and the startup page is not
loaded in the browse buffer. WE isn't giving any status about the page and
the page seems to be empty. A redraw window or a refresh page solves this.
What page do you have set as your start page? Also, do you have the
option to always show the tab bar, as opposed to hiding it when there's
only one tab, enabled or disabled?
I tried the -d option and created a new profile, but no change at all, the
initial page isn't loaded in the browse buffer.
It's actually -p (that's dash p, as in profile). Create a new profile,
then launch Firefox with it to see if that makes any difference.
Also, please start listing the pages you're having problems with,
otherwise we have nothing to test.
