Hello Chip. I have no idea because different laptops handle the top row
of numpad keys differently. For example, on one of my laptops, numpad
slash, star, dash, and plus go from 0 to p tp semi to slash while on the
other one the order is dash to star to slash to plus. So, the best
solution is to turn on the key describer and press away.

Hi. I'd recommend using the desktop keyboard with this fine
machine. You
can then hold down the fn key, it's the second key from the
left, just
to the right of the control key. While held down, use 7 8 9
for numpad 7
8 9, u i o for numpad 4 5 6, and j k l for numpad 1 2 3. So,
to move the
mouse to the top-left, hold down fn key and press the number
7. To read
the current line under the mouse, holding fn key, press the letter i.
