Not quite. The keystroke Ins-B bypasses Window-Eyes hot keys, not the
other
way around. The key is disabling the hot keys for the graphics card.

I don't know about this specific graphics card but, with some, the
control+alt+arrow keys rotates the axis of the screen, eg
control+alt+uparrow will turn the screen upside-down! Therefore, as well
as
disabling this feature from within the graphics softwre, I would expect a
solution would be to use the WE bypass key, insert+b.

It's actually alt-ctrl-arrows. He probably has an Intel video adapter
with its hotkeys on. He asked where to turn them off, this isn't a WE
issue but a video card setting issue.

It's not control arrow, it's shift control arrow. I have a laptop and
I've never had to alter any settings to enable the key combination for
wineyes.
Try shift control arrow and let us know how it goes

John,
Actually this is some kind of Windows setting I've run into before.
The ctrl-arrow key combinations which allow you to adjust speed, volume
etc of W.E. are set to change the display and rotate what appears on
the
screen. I need to find where to turn off that setting so the
ctrl-arrows
will work in W.E.
Had to do this at work a few months ago and just don't remember where
this checkbox is.

Working on a new laptop and the key combination ctrl-arrows will not
allow me to change volume, rate etc.
I know this is because some video setting for hot keys is turned on.
any tips on where to find this item to change it?
Thanks.
