I suggested to Rick to turn off scripts to see if that fixed his problem and
he replied back that he turned off all scripts and the problem went away.

About all I can say is that I have seen this problem for quite a while and
it seems to be more prevalent in the WE 7 series. Could be coincidence as
to how I use my pcs, or something to do with WE -- no idea.
I have a hotkey to stop and restart WE; and also use the terminate script
liberally to stop offending applications.
One or both of these techniques will recover things back.
The ultimate resort tool is rebooting.
Do not have your concert first, and then tune your instrument afterwards.

and prayer, and get first of all into harmony with Him.
