Actually another alternative which works well is jarte which uses the
wordpad engine and yet gives you far more features. Download and install
wordweb and you have thesaurus and disctionary at your finger tips which
works excellently with the net books.

from what I read in reviews of netbooks, it's just that they have slow

Hi,
I am using Microsoft Word 2003 and WE 7.01 on a Netbook. For
some reason, there is a delay between pushing the arrow keys
and the cursor response. I am not sure why or how to fix
that. The cursor delay, I believe, is set to 1. What could
be causing that? I am in normal view; zoom is 75%; Smart
tags are off, and the only toolbars that are checked are
standard and formatting. This is not happening with my
desktop with Office 2000. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
