Getting past captcha on Twitter? Simple answer, install Firefox 3 and get invited to the Webvism service which solves all these pesky capchas!
Firefox isn't hard to get along with as all major screen readers now support it I believe. So, not quite as drastic a solution as it might sound. Otherwise, afraid you might need sighted help if there's not an audio readout on the site of the captcha string. all the best. Ray.
