The outlook problem I may be able to verify, although I describe it
differently:

when I open outlook, a lot of times window eyes says there are no
messages; when I use the up/down arrow keys, there is nothing read
except a message about "no selected item".

If I use the mouse cursor however, I can see the messages in the window.

if I press the enter key, more or less at random, window eyes will read
the message which is opened just fine; it's only the list of messages it
won't read.

my problem has only happened with outlook 2003 under vista.

is this the same one as yours?

thanks.
