Hi what happens when you take your mouse pointer to the message list and click
on a message. This seems to be a focus problem in outlook not really a problem
with window-eyes. I can reproduce this both with jaws and window-eyes. And
using the focus control script I can focus the table view and all is read fine.
This is why I think this has more to do with outlook then window-eyes.
Now if you are having issues where other lists are not tracking end the
explorer process and restart it. and see if this helps.

Hi,

Yup accept that basically nothing is said. It will read the folder structure
just fine not the contents. Although it does seem to be ok now but I
couldn't tell you what causes it or why it seems to revert back. What about
the loss of mouse control?

The outlook problem I may be able to verify, although I describe it
differently:

when I open outlook, a lot of times window eyes says there are no messages;
when I use the up/down arrow keys, there is nothing read except a message
about "no selected item".

If I use the mouse cursor however, I can see the messages in the window.

if I press the enter key, more or less at random, window eyes will read the
message which is opened just fine; it's only the list of messages it won't
read.

my problem has only happened with outlook 2003 under vista.

is this the same one as yours?

thanks.

Chip
