Michael,

I'm the admin of a freelist list, and it has an archive, and I can easily
address the problems of any of my subscribers; so, sorry, but I really have
no idea what you're refering to as any reason not to convert?

Chip, the problem with this is that we would no longer be able to address
issues with the lists reported by users nearly as easily. Also we wouldn't
be able to create our archives nearly as easily. Believe it or not we
aren't just being stubborn and we do have well thought out reasons for
keeping it internal.
