We have a help desk application by Front Range solution that gets Window-Eyes to stop speaking while it is loading. It is a front end for an Oracle database.
My work around is when the logging screen comes up, I shut down Window-Eyes. I type in my password, press the enter key, then Windows-Key+M to minimize all open applications. Then I press control+shift+W to call up Window-Eyes. now Window-Eyes talks as usual and I can go into email or whatever else I was doing while our help desk application happily loads in the background. It takes five to ten minutes to load, because the databases are in Ottawa and I am not. Vic If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
