At this point in time, none of the kindle books can be read on the
booksense, victor reader stream, book port plus etc. I just wished they
could.

I am encouraged to know that Kindle books can be read on a PC. Can they be
read on the Booksense, Victor Stream, Flex Pocket, etc? The Kindle book
reader is not accessible, is it?

Hi Chris,
I read a Kindle book today, and it went fine.
you may already know this, but you can't read these books with
window-eyes;
you must use their reader with it's voice. so, you start the reading
with
their hotkey of control-r (their hotkeys are described on their web pages
for this program).
window-eyes is only used to read the menus, and the web site; it won't
find
or read any text from the book.
hth,
Chip

I downloaded the script and installed it. Downloaded the kindle app and
installed it, got a book and opened it in the app. I can read the app
fine,
but can't find any text in the book. It is a gutenberg book, so there
should be lots of lovely free text there? If anyone has a clue, I'd
appreciate it.
