You are totally missing my point.  One doesn't have to say good-bye to one 
screen reader to use another.
One doesn't necessarily have to look for another choice.  But what I am 
saying is that one has to be open to alternatives if they happen to be 
there.
That's all.  And, more germane to this thread:  a merchant takes a chance 
if they forego improvements to an existing product 
thinking that they can save costs by not working on certain issues.
If no one else fills that niche; they can; but if someone else does, then 
take the chance that users will explore alternatives.
>From GWMicro's standpoint, I am certan that they have weighed the pluses 
and minuses in what they are doing.
But as a user, I am not bound just to wait around for something they may 
or may not manifest itself.
And the nice thing with screen readers, you don't necessarily have to 
limit oneself to just one.
