Hi Casey, Could be window-eyes or your soundcard drivers.
when this happens to me, I press windows-m to minimize all windows and put me on the desktop. I know I don't have any icons which begin with x, so I press x to see if I hear a beep. so, if you do something like this, do you hear a beep (which means your soundcard is ok)? if you do, try the control-alt-w shortcut to start window-eyes again to see if it has shutdown; maybe you can restart it without rebooting. if it's not your soundcard, then it's likely window-eyes, and you might find 7.5 fixes this. hth, Chip -----Original Message----- From: Casey Wollner [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, March 12, 2011 6:58 PM To: [email protected] Subject: a computer issue that maybe window eyes related but not sure I am enjoying my new windows seven system but there is one thing and I am not sure what is causing it. It happens maybe once or twice a day and I am not using it bye typing on the keyboard really fast or anything. But what happens is I will loose window eyes and then the computer doesn't seem to do anything for me. Hear is the strange no error message comes up and someone with sight can still use the computer with the mouse. But It seems like I loose should and keyboard usage and window eyes. Well I don't hear any sounds after I don't have window eyes anymore. So I don't know if I loose sound altogether or not. But I have to restart the computer and then all is fine again until the next time it happens. So is window eyes causing this or is this a system bug? I am using windows 7 64 bit and window eyes 7.2 if that helps any. Casey If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
