I didn't have enough of the problem to remember back when I had vista.
Of course, that was a long time ago, and with all the updates, vista
probably has changed in a meaningful way by now.

Been going on for a good while. I've had this problem off and on ever
since I upgraded to windows 7. 7.5 seems to cause a little less of the
issue, fortunately. I suspect something in window-eyes isn't playing
well with windows 7, personally.
