The service pak may have to be installed alone. Probally if you restart your
PC and then go to Win update and try it will work..

Subject: windows update issue
Hello folks. In my system tray I am getting the message new updates
are available. However, when i click on this icon to instal windows
instals everything accept for the windows 7 service pack 1. Instead of
installing I get an error and I am asked to retry. When I retry it
does not work either. any help you can give me will be greatly
appreciated.
